The given picture shows a ship nearing the harbor. Harbor is s place where ships load and unloads its cargoes. It’s the solid earth. A ship begins and ends its journey from a harbor.
In ancient days ships were the only mode of transportation from one part of the world to another.

Even nowadays after the invention of aircrafts ships are widely in use for transporting heavy goods even cars are shifted on ships. The merchants use ships to transport their goods or raw materials which they either import or export from different countries.

Countries which have a coastline keep naval forces to protect their coastal regions and resist foreign attacks. The integral part of navy is that they maintain warships. The warships are special kinds of ships which are armed.

Passenger ships have become an article of luxury. These are known as cruise ships, they have everything on board form shopping malls, cinema houses to swimming pools. They are designed in such a fashion keeping the comfort of the customers especially in long distance.

Inspite of ships providing such luxury and comfort they are least favorite with the people especially because the long time it takes to travel distances which could covered in a very short time in airplanes and also no one likes the perils of the sea.
